The following terms and conditions cover all orders placed with Collard's Veg website and via telephone or E-mail. Please read these before placing any order with us.
None of the following terms and conditions in any way affect your statutory rights as a consumer, as laid down in the laws of England and Wales.
The customer may contact us at any time by telephone on 07939222280, or by e-mail at Becky@collardsveg.co.uk. We will aim to reply to any inquiry within 24 hours of receipt, but accept no liability for delays caused by circumstances outside our direct control.
Collards veg accepts no liability for third parties use of any images or information contained within this website. Although we aim to give as accurate information as possible, we accept no liability for loss or inconvenience caused by said inaccuracies should they occur.
Placing an order:
The customer will be required to register in order to purchase goods from our website. This will entail entering name address and contact details. Any personal information will only be used for the purposes of processing the customer's order, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Orders will only be accepted from postcodes within an area of North Kent set out by Collard's Veg. We cannot accept orders outside said area unless by special arrangement with us. We reserve the right to refuse any order from any area should we deem it necessary for any reason.
By placing an order with us the customer is agreeing to accept the goods as requested at the point of sale. We will confirm an order once payment has been received, from which point an agreement to supply said goods will exist.
Collard's Veg does not in any way guarantee the accuracy of information contained within the website, or accept any liability for issues caused by any inaccuracy, unless caused by our own negligence. Should we be unable to supply any item on an order we will contact the customer to arrange either a substitute or refund.
We do not guarantee any prices whether quoted verbally or online. Prices may change at any point until an order has been paid for in full. Where goods are sold by weight, we will endeavour to supply goods as close to the specified weight as possible, but may result in goods being marginally under or over weight. The customer will be refunded if the weight difference causes them to be overcharged for an item. Due to the perishable nature of the goods, prices will change frequently.
Cancellation of an order must be received at least 24 hours before the specified delivery date. Any order cancelled within this time frame will be refunded in full within 24 hours. Collard's Veg takes no responsibility for loss or inconvenience caused by time taken for the banks to process any refund.
We supply goods for domestic and private use, and claim no liability for any business loss or damage caused by placing an order with us.
Payment and personal details :
Payment must be received in full on placement of an order, unless other arrangements have been made and accepted in advance with Collard's Veg.
Customer's card details are processed via Sage Pay. Please refer to their terms and conditions for any information pertaining to use and security of card holder details. Collard's Veg has no direct access to payment details and has completed all security checks required for a compliance certificate.
We cannot accept liability for the time taken for banks to process payments and refunds.
Collard's Veg does not guarantee any specific delivery times can be met. We reserve the right to change or cancel any delivery based on order value, area of delivery or circumstances beyond our control. The customer will be informed and refunded as soon as practically possible should the need to cancel an order arise.
Delivery will be complete once we have supplied the complete order to the address or location specified, whether received in person or left in a location requested by the customer. Items will be the responsibility of the customer from this point on. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage caused to items after delivery is completed.
We reserve the right to add delivery charges to any order should we deem it necessary based upon value of the order and distance to delivery address.
We reserve the right not to complete delivery if the order is not paid for in full on arrival at the specified address. We claim no liability under such conditions for loss or damages caused by a failed delivery. We take no responsibility for issues arising from deliveries failing due to incorrect or fraudulent information provided by the customer. Any deposit taken in such circumstances may be kept by us to cover the cost of said failed delivery.
Customers must inspect their order and report any issues to us as promptly as possible, due to items perishable nature. We will attempt to resolve any issue within 24 hours of receipt of the complaint, where at all possible. This excludes Sundays and Bank holidays.
